Are UMD Women's Hockey camps open to everyone?

A.

Yes! Each camp is limited only by age and enrollment limits.

Do we have to pay for the entire cost of the camp up front?

A.

No, you are welcome to enroll in our payment plan with a $200 down payment. The full balance is due prior to the start of the camp.

Can I stay in the dorms?

A.

No, due to COVID restrictions there is no housing option in 2020. However we do have a room block set aside at Pier B Resort Hotel a few steps away from Amsoil Arena

What should I bring to camp?

A.

A list of essential items will be sent out prior to the beginning of camp.

What airport is closest to Amsoil Arena?

A.

Duluth: 6 miles
Minneapolis-St. Paul: 150 miles

Is it okay if I come late or leave early?

A.

While we do recommend that anyone who signs up for camp participates in its entirety, we understand that in certain circumstances it is necessary for a camper to come later or leave early. In the event that this is the case, we will be as accommodating as we can.

Is daily transportation covered by the camp?

A.

No, due to COVID restrictions there is no transportation option in 2020

Are all meals covered by the camp?

A.

No meals included this year due to COVID, but there will be options available in the Canal Park district and surrounding area.

Are practices and games open to the public?

A.

Currently, they are not but that may change as the Minnesota Department of Health makes adjustments over time. Minnesota Department of Health

Will skate sharpening be available?

A.

Skate sharpening will be available at the Duluth Camp only for $5/pair. (cash only).
